The Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor's Club is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to support the daily operations of our Housekeeping department while inspiring a team committed to exceptional cleanliness and service. Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience required
  • Hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and support team members
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and stretching
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business demands
  • Qualified applicants must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check and reference checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the housekeeping team throughout the day
  • Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance development
  • Conduct training and coaching sessions on chemical usage, departmental policies, and the various components of the Hay Adams Standards of Excellence
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards
  • Partner with the Front Office to prioritize room availability and guest needs
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
  • Assist with payroll, inventory, and departmental organization
  • Help oversee daily operations in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping or the Assistant Housekeeping Manager
