About The Position

Hotel Emma is seeking passionate, service driven candidates for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor. The purpose of this position is to supervise the Housekeeping personnel and inspect hotel guestrooms, restrooms, corridors and other service and public areas.

Requirements

Position requires effective communication with guests and co-workers.
Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulates the Hotel Emma Culture.
Twelve months related experience.
Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Inspects and trains personnel in housekeeping duties.
Updates room status.
Resolves guests’ issues regarding housekeeping service, facilities or equipment.
Examines carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
Checks and inventories linens and supplies.
Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
Communicates with other hotel departments regarding problems which need their attention.
Ensures all equipment is properly maintained and secured.
Ensures Lost and Found procedures are followed.
Aids in budget control through supervision of employees use of linen, supplies and equipment.
Ensures key control policies.
Abides by the regulations of the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
May perform cleaning duties.
Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
Takes the initiative to greet guests and fellow Associates in a friendly and warm manner.
Performs other related duties as required.
