About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of park buildings, food service areas, restrooms, and midways. This role leads and supports housekeeping team members to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. The Housekeeping Supervisor monitors daily operations, maintains quality standards, assists with training, and supports overall facility operations.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Promote and practice safe work habits at all times.
  • Ensure team compliance with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support housekeeping/janitorial team members while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
  • Inspect buildings, restrooms, food service areas, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning assignments, schedules, and task completion.
  • Train team members on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, equipment operation, and safety practices.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms using proper chemicals, equipment, and procedures as needed.
  • Sweep, mop (wet and dry), wax, and maintain floors in buildings and food service areas.
  • Vacuum and maintain carpeting.
  • Wash windows, furniture, and other fixtures.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and restroom inventory.
  • Remove trash, paper, and debris from buildings and park grounds.
  • Respond promptly to cleanliness concerns, spills, or guest service requests.
  • Assist with furniture movement; set up, fold, and store tables and chairs as needed.
  • Lock and unlock doors; monitor building and ground security.
  • Activate and deactivate alarm systems as required.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when needed.
  • Maintain positive and professional interactions with guests, vendors, clients, and employees.
  • Complete reports, inspections, and documentation as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
