About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor — Suites is a frontline leadership role responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness across the resort's suite and villa inventory. This position plays a critical role in mentoring and quality-checking the work of newer Suite Attendants, ensuring every space meets or exceeds luxury brand standards prior to guest arrival or continued occupancy. A key afternoon responsibility of this role is the Verified Ready (VR) program — a systematic process of inspecting and releasing suites to the Front Desk team, enabling upsell opportunities that drive incremental revenue for the resort. The Supervisor must combine an eye for detail with a service-driven mindset, operating with both urgency and precision.

Requirements

  • Warm and caring personality
  • Previous Housekeeping experience in luxury hotel environment with 2 years of experience minimal.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
  • Must have manual dexterity to be able to carry out essential functions, operate housekeeping devices and other cleaning equipment as needed
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs.
  • Occasional bending and kneeling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise Suite Attendants, with focused mentorship for associates in their first five years of employment.
  • Conduct real-time coaching on cleaning techniques, product usage, and sequence of service during live inspections.
  • Model professionalism, work ethic, and brand standards at all times; serve as the go-to resource for attendant questions and concerns.
  • Communicate daily priorities, section assignments, and special requests during pre-shift lineups.
  • Document performance observations and escalate concerns to the Director of Housekeeper as appropriate.
  • Inspect 100% of arrival rooms cleaned by newer Suite Attendants (those with fewer than 5 years of service or as designated by leadership).
  • Inspect stayover rooms serviced by newer attendants throughout the shift to ensure consistent quality and adherence to Do Not Disturb / privacy protocols.
  • Complete all shift reports, inspection logs, room status updates, and VR release documentation accurately and on time.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to in-house guest requests routed through the housekeeping department.
