Housekeeper
About The Position
Supervises the work activities of the housekeepers & housemen to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment. This role involves inspecting rooms daily for cleanliness, neatness, appearance and wear and tear, reporting needed repairs, and working closely with engineering and front office on out-of-order rooms. The position also assists in the development and implementation of department programs, training, scheduling, and supervision of housekeeping employees. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for reporting lost and found articles and picking up "over" rooms when necessary.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years minimum housekeeping experience required

- 2nd language desirable
Responsibilities

- Reports needed repairs according to procedures to supervisor and/or maintenance
- Works closely with engineering and front office on out-of-order rooms
- Assists in the development and implementation of department programs, training, scheduling, supervision of housekeeping employees
- Reports lost and found articles to supervisor immediately, mails or properly stores items
- Responsible for picking up “over” rooms at times when it becomes necessary
