About The Position
The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department and helps ensure a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. This role helps lead the housekeeping team, supports daily assignments, and ensures guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work flexible hours; including weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean and well maintained
- Inspect rooms to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met
- Assign daily work, train, and motivate housekeeping team members
- Help maintain cleaning schedules and daily workflows
- Update status of rooms in the property management system
- Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs in a friendly and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to support guest satisfaction
- Ensure safe and proper use of cleaning products and equipment
- Provide support during busy periods or staffing shortages
- Perform other duties as assigned
