The PM Housekeeping Supervisor at a beach resort is responsible for overseeing the evening operations of the housekeeping department to ensure all guest accommodations and public areas meet the resort’s high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by coordinating staff, maintaining quality control, and responding promptly to guest and operational needs during afternoon and evening shifts. The supervisor manages and supports housekeeping team members, including room attendants, housepersons, and turndown staff, ensuring duties are completed efficiently and in accordance with resort policies and brand standards. They conduct inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas, address any deficiencies, and ensure readiness for late arrivals and next-day occupancy. In addition to operational oversight, the PM Housekeeping Supervisor communicates closely with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to handle special requests, room status updates, and urgent service issues. The role also involves resolving guest concerns in a professional and timely manner, contributing to overall guest satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in a resort setting.
