The Housekeeping Supervisor at Sage Lodge assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department. This role involves ensuring that all housekeeping activities and services meet or exceed established standards, conducting daily inspections of guestrooms and public areas, and assisting with departmental budget management, including monitoring revenue, expenses, and labor costs. The supervisor is also responsible for reporting unsafe conditions, ensuring proper equipment maintenance and usage, and maintaining inventory levels. Communication with other departments, addressing guest complaints, and ensuring the security of supplies are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the supervisor will be involved in selecting, supervising, training, developing, scheduling, disciplining, and counseling staff, demonstrating positive leadership, and participating in the property’s Manager on Duty program as needed.
