About The Position

The Grand Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Housekeeping Manager with training, developing, and supervising a high-performing seasonal housekeeping team to ensure exceptional guest, homeowner, and employee satisfaction. This role includes providing leadership and operational oversight of the housekeeping department in the Housekeeping Manager’s absence. The position is hands-on and requires actively performing housekeeping duties such as daily room service, deep cleaning, and post-occupancy cleaning as needed. During periods when the Grand Lodge experiences low occupancy or reduced supervisory needs, the Supervisor may be required to work at other Deer Valley managed properties based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or property management required
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with training, developing, and supervising housekeeping staff.
  • Inspect private homes and condominiums, document inspection results, and communicate corrective actions to staff.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to develop weekly schedules that ensure appropriate coverage while adhering to budgetary guidelines and occupancy levels.
  • Coach housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with current housekeeping practices, products, techniques, and safety standards, promoting a safe and injury-free work environment.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of condominiums and residences in accordance with established department standards.
  • Stock condominiums with appropriate supplies according to department standards.
  • Clean common areas of lodges and perform daily housekeeping services as assigned.
  • Identify and report damage, maintenance issues, or items requiring repair or replacement to management.
  • Address guest service concerns related to housekeeping and equipment, and posting records as required.
  • Complete work orders, requisitions, reports, and inventory tracking accurately and timely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
