Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring all activities and services meet or exceed established standards and goals. This role involves conducting daily inspections, managing departmental budgets, monitoring revenue, expenses, and labor costs, and ensuring the proper maintenance and security of equipment and supplies. The Housekeeping Supervisor also advises guests and team members on housekeeping matters, addresses guest complaints, and collaborates with other departments. A key part of the role is leading and developing the housekeeping staff, including selection, training, scheduling, and discipline, while demonstrating positive leadership characteristics. The position may also involve participating in the Manager on Duty program and performing duties of supervised positions as needed.
