This role assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department at The FINCH, an 80-guest accommodation hotel in downtown Walla Walla. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring all housekeeping activities and services meet or exceed established standards, conducting daily inspections of guestrooms and public areas, and managing departmental budget, expenses, and labor costs. The position involves maintaining equipment and supply inventory, advising guests and team members on housekeeping matters, and addressing guest complaints. The supervisor also plays a key role in communication across departments, ensuring security of supplies, and participating in the Manager on Duty program. A significant aspect of the role is selecting, supervising, training, developing, scheduling, disciplining, and counseling staff, demonstrating positive leadership, and conducting training on job standards.
