About The Position

Civeo Services Employees LP is looking to fill a Housekeeping Supervisor role for their Fort McMurray oil sands region. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and works as a member of the Housekeeping Team to achieve overall performance goals, identify opportunities, and maintain an efficient, effective work environment. This position will be on a rotation basis of 20 days on, 10 days off as required by the business. This is a temporary role for up to 3 months with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a supervisory role in a related industry
Formal housekeeping training is required
Computer literacy in Microsoft products including Excel and Word
Must be able to pass Pre-Access (drug/alcohol) test
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Able to manage time efficiently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to make sound decisions quickly
Strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Front office experience is an asset
Familiarity with hotel management/ property systems would be an asset

Responsibilities

Building, strengthening and maintaining excellent communication skills with all our employees
Supervising housekeeping staff (Camp Attendants, Janitors & other workers)
Ensuring quality and standards are being met or exceeded
Assigning rooms to Camp Attendants
Preparing morning briefings (toolbox notes)
Training new employees on standards and expectations
Checking the linen counts for laundry pickup and delivery days
Assisting with safety meetings
Assisting with inventory counts and ordering as required
Assisting and coordinating with front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences
