About The Position
The Housekeeping Supervisor, referred to in the role description as the Lead Housekeeping Associate, provides daily supervision to employees responsible for housekeeping and laundry services. The position helps ensure the community is clean, safe, and comfortable. The associate also performs housekeeping and laundry activities as needed. In the absence of the department director, the Lead Housekeeping Associate assumes administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the department.
Responsibilities
- Supervise employees responsible for day-to-day housekeeping and laundry activities.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry activities as needed to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable community.
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, corridors, and other communal areas as directed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly, following company, state, and federal procedures and guidelines.
- Provide timely, excellent customer service.
