About The Position

The position of Housekeeping Room Attendant involves cleaning and maintaining guest room areas, including bathrooms and bedrooms, according to company standards. Responsibilities also include organizing and stocking cleaning carts, organizing linen closets, completing assigned paperwork accurately and timely, and performing other duties such as cleaning spills or fulfilling special guest requests. The role requires a high work ethic, self-initiative, and a team-oriented approach to provide excellent guest experiences. The job description also outlines physical requirements for an "In-Office Role" which include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day, occasional standing and walking, frequent use of fine motor skills for keyboarding and operating office equipment, effective verbal and written communication, occasional bending, reaching, carrying items up to 10-25 pounds, visual ability for screens and printed materials, and the ability to hear and participate in conversations.

  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies)
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles)
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset

  • Complete assigned paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning spills or executing special guest requests
