About The Position
Breakfast Attendant The brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Queensbury, NY is currently seeking a dynamic, friendly and motivated individual for the position of Breakfast Attendant. The position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent organization, communication skills, and detail orientation. The Breakfast Attendant will oversee the breakfast area for our guests, prepare food and beverage for breakfast function, maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, interact with guests, ask about their stay and be able to answer questions about the hotel and the area. Requirements
- Friendly and dynamic individual and loves working with people
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability
- Must be able to work between the hours of 6am – 11am
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel or food service experience strongly preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for food service set up and break down
- Cleaning all equipment and areas
- Prepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out all hot and cold food items following food safety regulations.
- Replenish all food and beverage items during the meal period
- Keep all items fully stocked
- Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures
- Keep all tables bused and cleaned
- Greet each guest as they arrive for breakfast and build a friendly rapport
- Creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests
- Solving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolution
- Continually walking and standing in a fast paced environment
