The Inn at Ole Miss is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of assigned areas. This role involves cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms. Additionally, attendants will replenish guest room supplies, ensure fixtures are in good working order, and report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor. The position also includes general facility cleaning, waste removal, securing entrances, and reporting maintenance or pest control needs.

Requirements

• Relevant experience
• Ability to clock in at scheduled time
• Ability to clean and sanitize guest rooms
• Ability to make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, and clean bathrooms
• Ability to replenish guest room supplies
• Ability to ensure all room equipment and fixtures are in good working order
• Ability to report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Utilizes equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables.
• Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances, reports issues to appropriate entities.
• Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory and requests additional supplies as needed.
• Documents and reports repairs, violations and pest control needs.
• Maintains clean and clear entrances to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow and ice.
• Cleans and sanitizes guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Replenishes guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities.
• Ensures all room equipment and fixtures are in good working order.
• Reports any maintenance issues or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
