Housekeeping Room Attendant
About The Position
This role is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Room Attendant will maintain guest rooms by ensuring beds are made, bathrooms are sparkling, and public areas are free of dust. They will also restock towels, toiletries, and amenities, sort laundry, operate laundry machines safely, and handle linen with care. Maintaining an organized cart and closets is essential for an efficient workspace. The position may also involve assisting with deep cleaning, special projects, and team training.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Customer service mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina: ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and be on feet for the whole shift.
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas, including making beds and cleaning bathrooms.
- Restock towels, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms.
- Sort laundry and operate laundry machines safely.
- Handle linen with care.
- Keep the housekeeping cart and closets organized.
- Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as needed.
- Participate in team training when required.
