About The Position

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a consistently high standard of service. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Requirements

Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Typical start time is 9:00 AM; end time varies based on business needs.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hospitality.
Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and demonstrate reliability and strong work ethic.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and guest-focused approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Clean and service guest rooms and suites according to hotel standards
Restock linens, amenities, and room supplies
Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance concerns promptly
Respond to guest requests with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned areas and housekeeping carts
Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations
