Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies and their safe usage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in a residential or hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact respectfully with residents and staff.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all designated areas such as common spaces, hallways, restrooms, and resident rooms.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly and maintained in good working order.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the management team promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a healthy environment and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels as needed.
