About The Position

The Housekeeping Overnight Cleaner cleans and maintains public areas during the overnight shift, including conference center meeting rooms, offices, floors, and public restrooms. The role also involves delivering requested items to guest rooms, handling items found in public areas, maintaining equipment, and reporting safety concerns, lost and found items, and repair needs to the appropriate department or supervisor. The employee may also be assigned other job-related duties by an authorized person.

Requirements

• Must have employment eligibility in the United States.
• Ability to move, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25–30 pounds.
• Ability to move up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
• Flexible availability for the third shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., and for holidays and weekends based on hotel demands.

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and meeting rooms, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Return food and beverage service items found in public areas to the proper department.
• Ensure equipment is distributed and maintained in proper operating order.
• Ensure public restrooms are stocked.
• Deliver guest-requested items to guest rooms.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash.
• Remain aware of safety issues, including broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons; report safety incidents to the on-duty supervisor.
• Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
• Immediately report needed repairs, such as leaky faucets or toilets and loose tiles, to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested by a supervisor or authorized person.
