About The Position

Renaissance Milwaukee West, a Marriott AAA Four Diamond premium distinctive hotel, is seeking an energized and curious minded Housekeeping Manager. Requirements

Leadership experience in a full-service hotel, within the Rooms Division (preferably Housekeeping).
Flexible availability is required (including weekends).

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations and staff.
Demonstrate Concord and Renaissance brand values in daily leadership, maintaining a positive, effective, and efficient environment.
Maintain room quality to company and brand objectives.
Distribute daily workload; routinely monitor and adjust (as needed) to meet daily objectives.
Manage and adhere to inspection program for all guest rooms and public areas to ensure proper maintenance and standards are achieved and sustained.
Maintain deep cleaning schedule.
Initiate new procedures to increase efficiency of labor, equipment, and resources.
Stay current to advances in Housekeeping. Continually review processes and procedures and implement new methods as needed.
Review guest satisfaction scores and feedback. Respond promptly and professionally to opportunities.
Ensure compliance with key control procedures as they relate to the housekeeping department.
Maintain working relationship with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products and service.
Assists in inventory management.
Collaborate closely with Engineering team to ensure proper preventative maintenance.
Ensure all housekeeping and laundry equipment is maintained in working order.
Assist in selecting, training, developing, coaching, and motivating housekeeping staff.
Assist in scheduling the department to business volume.
Routinely monitor and manage time and attendance.
Act as Manager on Duty as required.
Maintain continual communication between all departments within the hotel to ensure a consistent and cohesive guest experience.
Complete duties of direct reports, as needed. This includes and is not limited to cleaning guest rooms, cleaning public areas, stocking linen closets, and sorting, washing, and folding linens.
Other duties as required.
