About The Position
The stunning Forbes 4-Star Conrad New York Downtown is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join their team! Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations to include room inspections and various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and be excited about the opportunity to grow their career in a luxury hotel environment. They should have at least 2 years of supervisory Housekeeping experience, with luxury hotel, union, and OnQ experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations: Manage cleanliness, service, and product quality standards in guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting areas
- Ensure room readiness: Coordinate housekeeping efforts to ensure rooms are cleaned and available for guests promptly and efficiently
- Manage departmental processes: Oversee systems usage, cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, and policy enforcement to drive efficiency and profitability
- Conduct inspections: Oversee and perform room and public area inspections to maintain high-quality standards and compliance
- Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
