We are currently seeking a Housekeeping / Maintenance Helper to add to our growing team. The Housekeeping / Maintenance Helper is responsible for supporting the cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of facilities. This role assists with routine housekeeping tasks and performs general maintenance support to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained work environment for employees and visitors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and safety procedures
- Ability to use common hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance support experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces regularly
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables
- Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as needed
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Assist with basic repairs such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and minor equipment adjustments
- Support preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
- Help move furniture, equipment, and materials as needed
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to leadership
- Perform basic outdoor upkeep (e.g., sweeping walkways, light groundskeeping if applicable)
