About The Position

The purpose of this position is to implement and maintain efficient systems to operate the housekeeping and laundry departments in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet residents needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Requirements

• Must have high school education.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must have ability to follow oral and written instruction.
• Be in good physical, mental and emotional health.
• Must have ability to cooperate with and supervise employees.
• Have experience as a housekeeper or training in the area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and/or perform housekeeping and cleaning activities within established guidelines.
• Has overall responsibility of housekeeping / laundry department to assure that the building is kept clean, and linen is to be processed accordingly and up to standards.
