About The Position

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor leads daily environmental services operations while actively supporting the team in housekeeping and laundry functions. This supervisor role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments while also assisting with departmental duties to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor ensures services are delivered in accordance with company standards and all applicable state and federal regulations for long-term care communities. This role plays an important part in maintaining a comfortable, homelike environment while supporting staff performance, training, and quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
  • One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
