About The Position

Housekeeping/Laundry Aides provide cleaning and laundry services to help maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. The role calls for a supportive presence that creates a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents, teamwork toward excellent resident care, and the stamina, strength, and endurance needed to provide cleaning services. Team members are expected to demonstrate American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide cleaning services.
• Ability to work as part of a team toward excellent resident care.
