About The Position

CSP, Inc. is seeking a team member to clean and maintain the Whitehaven Rest Area. The position includes indoor and outdoor work and collaboration with others. Employees can work at their own pace. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with shifts listed as 1st shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.), 2nd shift (3 p.m.–11 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.). The listed salary is $10.00 per hour. Duties include cleaning rest area grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, vending areas, parking areas, and ramps. Cleaning tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, washing windows and glass doors, and cleaning commodes, urinals, sinks, and mirrors. Janitorial tasks include stocking toilet paper and soap, keeping sidewalks, parking lots, and lawn areas free of litter and debris, and emptying trash containers.

Requirements

Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety precautions.
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with coworkers and others.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a background check.
Must be able to work for up to two continuous hours indoors and outdoors, throughout the year and in all kinds of weather.
Must be able to stand and walk on concrete and similar hard surfaces and walk on uneven ground such as lawns, fields, and gravel.
Must be able to perform two-handed work; open and close doors; push and pull equipment and objects; lean forward, backward, and to each side; bend, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

Clean rest area grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, vending areas, parking areas, and ramps.
Sweep and mop floors; wash windows and glass doors; clean commodes, urinals, sinks, and mirrors.
Stock toilet paper and soap.
Keep sidewalks, parking lots, and lawn areas free of litter and debris.
Empty trash containers.
Determine whether surfaces meet required cleaning standards.
Identify spills and other liquids on floors, parking lots, and other surfaces, and detect and avoid nearby automobiles and other motor vehicles.
