About The Position

Responsibilities for maintaining all floor, and Carpet surfaces on the units and performing all related responsibilities as required. In addition are responsible for cleaning the dining rooms after breakfast on a daily basis.

Requirements

Willingness to perform all tasks assigned with a pleasant attitude.
High standards of cleanliness.
Flexibility in daily work schedule to accommodate residents and increase efficiency.
Wear a Yellow Department shirt with Logo.
Wear Blue or Black Jeans (must be neat, no holes).
Wear Gym Shoes.

Responsibilities

Maintain all floor and carpet surfaces on the units.
Clean dining rooms after breakfast daily.
Place wet floor signs or cones on the floor.
Dust mop assigned units.
Prepare floors for mopping.
Remove stubborn dirt, grease, etc. from floors.
Prepare mop water using recommended EPA approved disinfectant.
Shampoo carpets in hallways or provisional units that require attention or have spills.
Empty trash in each break room and sweep and mop if needed.
Restock all Attends storage on each unit.
Check and pull full boxes of Bio-Hazard Waste in closets on each unit, and store in the locked room in Central Supply if full.
Scrub dirty bathroom or shower room floors if time allows.
