About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented, part-time Housekeeping Inspector to help maintain cleanliness and guest service standards at a hotel. The role ensures rooms and public areas are clean and sanitized, rooms are properly supplied with clean linens and guest amenities, and hotel safety and security procedures are followed. The inspector should know the property, its staff and services, service hours, and nearby surroundings, and should handle items guests leave behind according to the hotel's lost-and-found procedures. Other duties may be assigned. The position is tipped eligible. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards.
Ensure rooms have clean linen, bedding, and towels.
Understand and follow hotel safety and security procedures.
Maintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, services, service hours, and surroundings, such as nearby malls and restaurants.
Ensure rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, and other supplies.
Identify items guests have left behind and report them using the hotel's lost-and-found procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
