About The Position

The Housekeeping Inspector will ensure the quality of cleanliness and general maintenance of rooms and public spaces at the Ironworks Hotel. This role also involves providing guests with a fully stocked and well-maintained mini bar on a consistent basis throughout their stay, maintaining an inventory of all mini-bar items, and posting charges to guest rooms prior to departure. Positive guest interactions are expected as Housekeeping Associates play an important role in creating a unique experience for each guest.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Housekeeping and customer service experience
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
U.S. Work Authorization

Responsibilities

Inspect housekeepers’ work to required standards to ensure quality checkouts and daily service in units and in public spaces.
Assist with cleaning of rooms and/or covering for housekeepers as needed.
Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Tech or Supervisor.
Report any theft, damage, or lost and found items to management.
Ensure that proper furnishing and literature is in all units.
Comply with all hotel safety guidelines.
Pick up ground litter around hotel or whatever visible.
May perform similar duties as requested by Supervisor, Director, or General Manager.
Provide guests with a fully stocked and well-maintained mini bar on a consistent basis throughout a guest’s stay.
Maintain a fully stocked inventory of all mini-bar items.
Inventory all guest mini bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to the guest’s departure.
