The Rooms Inspector is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in keeping the rooms, corridors, and all public areas of the hotel in a clean and well-maintained condition. This role is responsible for all assigned floors and ensuring room attendants have the proper equipment and supplies. The position requires the ability to deal with guests and personnel with poise, problem-solving, reasoning, and training abilities. Reading, writing, and mathematical abilities, including basic math, are necessary. The candidate must be unquestionably honest and dependable. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting and carrying, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, bending, and the ability to walk stairs. Carrying and/or lifting approximately 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 200 pounds occurs infrequently.
