About The Position
Glenaire is hiring a Housekeeping Homemaker specializing in dining and housekeeping to serve residents in nursing or assisted living households and help meet their daily needs. The role includes preparing and serving meals, housekeeping, and cleaning to help residents function at the highest possible level. Homemakers are primary advocates for residents and, alongside providing dining and housekeeping services, promote residents’ psychosocial well-being by building meaningful relationships, helping plan and facilitate social activities, and maintaining a safe environment. Household Coordinators lead the team.
Requirements
- Dining and/or housekeeping experience is preferred.
- ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified.
- Desire to serve senior adults.
- Positive outlook.
- Ability to take initiative and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and ability to handle a fast pace.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
