About The Position

Glenaire is hiring a Dietary and Housekeeping Homemaker to serve residents in nursing or assisted living households. The role helps meet residents’ daily needs by preparing and serving meals and providing housekeeping and cleaning so residents can function at the highest possible level. Working alongside Household Coordinators, the Homemaker serves as a primary advocate for residents. The role also promotes residents’ psychosocial well-being by building meaningful relationships, helping plan and facilitate social activities, and maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements

Dining and/or housekeeping experience is preferred.
ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified.
Desire to serve senior adults.
Positive outlook.
Ability to take initiative and be detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and ability to handle a fast pace.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
