Housekeeping - Custodian (Part-Time)
About The Position
We are looking to hire a Housekeeping/Custodian Part Time for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Taylor, Michigan. This role involves core building custodian duties such as cleaning and sanitizing floors and restrooms, managing waste and recycling, performing outdoor maintenance like sweeping and landscaping, and general upkeep tasks including changing air filters and light bulbs. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be committed to the schedule, and possess previous experience in a light labor-intensive job. We are looking for someone reliable who can potentially ascend to become a leader on our production team. As an essential service to healthcare, this position offers job stability, consistent part-time work hours (Monday-Friday, 12pm-6pm ideal shift), and a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour. We also provide a safe work environment with above-standard PPE protocols for handling medical waste.

Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and disinfecting restrooms while restocking supplies.
- Emptying trash cans, collecting recycling, and properly disposing of waste.
- Sweeping parking lot, clearing walkways, windows, minor landscaping, painting.
- Changing air filters and light bulbs, cleaning air vents, operating floor buffers, and other duties as necessary.
