About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and other assigned areas. The Housekeeping Attendant responds promptly to guest requests, ensures all amenities and supplies are replenished, and performs various cleaning tasks to uphold high standards of guest satisfaction. This role does not involve work on the casino gaming floor or in restricted areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping / custodial work.
- Must be polite and friendly.
- Good dependability, thoroughness, quality focus, guest focus and guest service skills.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to forty pounds.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
- Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
- Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
- Make beds and fold terry.
- Clean bathrooms.
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
- Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Promote superior guest service.
