About The Position

Great Blue Resorts is seeking qualified candidates to join their Housekeeping teams across Ontario. Housekeepers are fundamental to the success of the business by ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained resorts. The Housekeeping Attendant provides for the comfort of guests by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented, and maintains the security of guest rooms and guest privacy. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall image of the units, public spaces, and offices, striving to support a safe, clean, and well-maintained resort for all guests.

Requirements

  • Strong time management skills.

  • People skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products.
  • Knowledge of laundry and general household cleaning.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect welcome centre entrance and washrooms.
  • Empty office garbage receptacles.
  • Dust furniture in cottages.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture in cottages.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and appliances in cottages.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures in cottages.
  • Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings in cottages.
  • Clean decks of cottages.
  • Clean and disinfect public washrooms and showers.
  • Ensure soap dispensers are full and tissue holders are stocked in public areas.
  • Clean shower stall tiles and shower heads.
  • Keep kitchen items in the housekeeping storage room neat and accessible.
  • Report any kitchen items removed or replaced from units to the Housekeeping Lead.
