About The Position

The Housekeeping Associate maintains patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas by providing housekeeping services. The role helps ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital, using aseptic techniques and specialized cleaning processes with a variety of cleaning devices. The associate follows a daily cleaning schedule based on area needs, completes special projects as assigned, participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and provides courteous, caring service while meeting customer quality expectations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas through housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Use aseptic techniques and specialized cleaning processes with a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
