About The Position

Hickory House is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to perform day-to-day housekeeping services and help ensure the facility is clean and attractive in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team committed to quality patient care. Experience is preferred but not required, and training will be provided. The position is available full time or part time. The listed shift is 11 a.m.–7 p.m., with every other weekend covered from 6 a.m.–2 p.m.

Requirements

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior health-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
• Help maintain a clean and attractive facility in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
