About The Position

The Housekeeping Assistant maintains the Center at Park West building in a pristine condition. The Center provides physical rehabilitation and complex nursing care in a hotel-like environment. The role may be full-time or PRN (as needed). Applicants must be flexible to work weekends; the currently needed schedule is every Saturday and Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is located in Pueblo, Colorado, and pays $15.16–$16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to take instruction and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; must be a self-starter.
• Good communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift at least 15 pounds, and crawl.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of housekeeping experience in a skilled-care facility.

Responsibilities

• Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, and bathrooms.
• Wipe down walls, phones, and workstations.
• Vacuum, remove trash, and dust.
• Clean the dining room.
• Clean occupied and unoccupied patient rooms daily.
• Occasionally wear PPE and clean or disinfect areas contaminated with bodily fluids.
