About The Position

The Housekeeping Assistant (EVS Assistant) maintains the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in the assigned work area, following the policies and procedures in the Environmental Services Department Policy and Procedure Manual. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, nurses’ stations, kitchens, and other common areas; using chemicals; and disposing of waste. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms.
• Clean public and/or patient bathrooms.
• Clean nurses’ stations, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Use chemicals in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Dispose of waste.
• Perform other duties as required.
