About The Position

The Housekeeping Aide performs day-to-day housekeeping services to ensure a clean, attractive facility in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The position works five days a week: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The company is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned healthcare organization with more than 200 locations across the U.S.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health-care experience preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
• Help maintain a clean and attractive facility in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
