About The Position

Landis Homes is seeking Housekeeping Assistants to join its Campus Services team at Landis Homes Retirement Community in Lititz, Pennsylvania. The role provides routine and special cleaning services for the facility and its residents. This is a part-time, day-shift position. No previous experience is required, and applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, halls, and other assigned areas.
• Wash beds and mattresses and remake beds after resident transfers or as scheduled.
• Keep assigned areas neat and clean.
• Perform housecleaning and special cleaning tasks, including scrubbing, waxing, and window cleaning, as needed or scheduled.
• Assist with delivering and collecting trash from resident rooms.
• Maintain adequate departmental supplies and report supply or equipment needs to the Supervisor.
• Provide residents with personal assistance and verbal or physical direction as necessary.
• Report residents’ special needs to nursing staff.
