About The Position

McMenamins Grand Lodge is Hiring for Housekeeping AAM (Assistant Assistant Manager). Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Previous housekeeping experience required

• Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the Hotel Housekeeping AM and Hotel Manager with oversight in all housekeeping related operations.
• Supervision of housekeeping staff and ensures that housekeepers are trained in proper procedures for cleaning rooms, closets, bathrooms, hallways.
• Assist the housekeeping staff with any task, as needed.
• Checking departures and notifying housekeepers of changes to their room assignment list.
• Perform room checks for readiness after housekeepers have finished with a room.
• Reporting any repair issues to facilities, and follow-up with any issue with rooms or housekeepers to hotel manager in a timely fashion.
• Checking all closets and carts for readiness after other housekeepers have left for the day.
• Take a weekly inventory of cleaning supplies, and notify the Hotel AM and Hotel Manager of any equipment or product needs.
• Work effectively with the hotel manager on hiring needs, training, complying with and enforcing all company, property and departmental policies.
• Direct hotel guests with general questions and locations of rooms/events/locations on property.
