About The Position

The Housekeeping Aide plays a vital role in the community by following established procedures to ensure resident rooms and common areas are appropriately cared for and cleaned. The posting lists Housekeeping Aide and Laundry Aide positions, with full-time and PRN scheduling and a 4-on, 2-off rotation.

Requirements

• At least one year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak and understand English to communicate with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors.
• Spot-clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans.
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Honor additional housekeeping requests made by residents during the allotted time.
• Assist with picking up trash.
• Assist with activity room setup, including moving furniture.
• Report information pertinent to residents’ well-being directly to management.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as necessary.
