About The Position

As a working Supervisor, this role provides daily supervision of housekeeping and apparel services workers. The position involves planning, scheduling, inspecting work, and assigning tasks to the team. It requires utilizing knowledge of management principles and established policies and procedures to ensure staff adherence. The role includes providing training to ensure staff competencies, maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for both the in-hospital population and personnel, and ensuring adequate linen and wearing apparel to meet the needs of the hospital population. The supervisor will provide guidance and assistance as necessary to accomplish work assignments, and will be responsible for continual observation and evaluation for process improvements, resource savings, and employee satisfaction. This role is responsible for all operational and administrative functions of a housekeeping/environmental services department in an in-patient hospital setting to ensure day-to-day function and compliance with all regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

Commercial cleaning experience preferred
Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities
