About The Position

As a Housekeeping Aide in Long Term Care, you'll do more than simply perform your daily tasks; you'll build impactful relationships with the individuals who consider Muskoka Shores Community their home. In this role, you will provide heartfelt support to our residents by maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment. Requirements

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
• Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community
• Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order
• Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner
• Ensure residents' privacy is respected
• Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming
