About The Position

Edmonson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time or PRN Housekeeping Aide. The facility’s professionals work to enhance residents’ quality of life while encouraging support and involvement from family, friends, and the community. The role is part of a team focused on quality care, teamwork, and making a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. The schedule is full-time or PRN, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to facility emergencies, and document observations, interventions, and outcomes.
• Complete forms, reports, evaluations, and studies to help maintain control of equipment and supplies.
• Work with the Housekeeping Supervisor to identify and address problem areas and improve housekeeping services.
• Operate power equipment used for floor maintenance and upkeep.
• Assist with exterior cleaning duties, including sweeping sidewalks and picking up trash.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies, and report malfunctions or needed repairs.
