About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within assigned areas, following established cleaning routines and standards. The Housekeeping Floater will perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, and cleaning various surfaces and fixtures. The position requires the safe use of chemicals and adherence to training and manual guidelines. Safety is a top priority at Tyson, and all team members are expected to practice safety diligently.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a daily basis.
Must be able to work with little supervision on a daily basis.
Must be able to push, pull, stand/walk on hard floors, bend, and reach overhead.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

6 months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow an area assigned checklist.
Maintain a consistent and safe cleaning routine.
Follow standards set up in Housekeeping Manuals, MSDS logs, and any other training.
Perform general restroom cleanings: sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning of glass/windows/doors/sinks/faucets/stainless/stall walls/doors, restocking paper products and chemicals.
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas in a set daily routine and in a timely manner.
Safely use chemicals and perform any other assigned tasks on a daily check sheet or by the supervisor.
