About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the highest housekeeping standards established for The American Club, Inn on Woodlake, and Lodge Kohler. The role involves ensuring all rooms are cleaned to hotel standards, personalizing guest rooms, and adhering to all standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Prior hotel/lodging experience is important, but not necessary.
• Must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day and handle bending over beds and tubs.
• Must speak, write, and/or understand English.
• Well-versed in the art of human relations and motivation techniques.
• Must be an articulate and perceptive individual able to foresee potential shortcomings and prevent problems.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma is preferred, or we will train an appropriate (experienced) candidate.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the assignment board, noting early arrivals, late departures, VIPs, and special requests.
• Following established cleaning standards, ensuring the proper chemical is used on each surface to avoid damage.
• Cleaning stayover rooms to meet stayover requirements, including personalizing the room.
• Cleaning checkout rooms to meet hotel standards.
• Following all American Club Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures.
• Treating every guest with respect.
• Following instructions given by Leads and other management.
• Being responsible for the proper use and care of assigned cleaning tools.
• Remaining professional at all times while on guest floors.
• Keeping uniform in perfect condition (neat, clean, well-fitting, no holes, missing buttons, or other faults).
• Promptly reporting any uniform deficiency.
• Always wearing a nametag.
• Treating all co-workers with dignity and respect.
• Promptly bringing concerns to the attention of your lead or the Executive Housekeeper.
• Performing any other duties upon request.
