About The Position

RPH Sayre is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join its Environmental Services team serving Sayre, Pennsylvania, and nearby communities. The role helps create a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, families, and staff, supporting Guthrie’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Housekeepers maintain clean and aseptic conditions in inpatient, outpatient, and office areas through cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and equipment maintenance, while providing exceptional customer service. The schedule is a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. No experience is required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning and disinfection in inpatient, outpatient, and office areas to maintain a clean and aseptic environment.
Remove and segregate waste in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Report maintenance issues, including burned-out lights, wall damage, leaking faucets, and EVS equipment problems, to management.
Report regulatory or safety issues to management.
Maintain equipment, carts, and closets in clean and safe working condition, and ensure appropriate supply levels.
Complete annual training requirements and participate in ongoing training on departmental policies and procedures.
Participate in team meetings, working groups, and committees as needed to help develop departmental processes.
Operate Epic Rovers and Vocera systems to communicate within the department and support timely completion of assigned tasks.
Assist in training new hires in assigned areas.
Perform other duties as necessary.
